Müller Ice Cap Daily Report Tuesday April 1
Daily
Report for the 01 April 2025
The Twin Otter, with Rod and Izzy, came at noon. After lunch we loaded the big Lynx snowmobile into the Twin Otter with the help from Nick and the loader. We managed without taking the front ski off by turning the snowmobile on the side while twisting it around the corner.
Unfortunately, the winds were very high at the Müller site and combined with low visibility and blowing snow, it was not possible to land.
Besides from this, we had a great day at Eureka and as usual food was plenty and excellent. Again, a great thanks to Ali and Linda.
What we
have done:
- Made a
sheet for camp with emergency contacts
- Loaded
the Lynx snowmobile into the wide door Twin Otter in the second attempt
- Worked on
the packing lists
- Shari
worked on the food packing lists
