Müller Ice Cap Daily Report Friday March 28
Daily Report 28 March 2025
The weather is still outstanding with blue sky, no wind and just a little cold (-30 deg C). We have had a very good day unpacking nearly all of the cargo from the three containers while Nick has been driving the cargo to the runway using a loader 918 with forks. We have been following with our snowmobiles loading and unloading the cargo for Nick.
We need to include a report on the food here at Eureka because it is just SO GOOD. Ali and Linda run the kitchen with pancakes, scrabbled eggs and much more for breakfast and warm meals for lunch and dinner. Beyond this there is fruit, cookies, chips and much more available all the time. Thanks to the kitchen 😊
What we have done:
-unpacked boxes from the three containers
-divided boxes in piles for the various programs
-moved cargo for team 1 and one Viessman cabin to the runway
-packed plywood on pallet for transport to runway
-restored spares and marine cargo in container
-tested Starlink Heiberg at the Eureka station
