Müller Ice Cap Daily Report Saturday May 13th
Waiting and working
Again, a waiting day as the weather was not good enough to go forward with the put-in at Müller ice cap. We used the day working, eating and playing cards (Whist). We had a small excursion to the warehouse after lunch to tested the Starlink system, that worked very well. The radar image processed by the team with support from Steven and Daniela and plotted by David shows ice thickness of up to 700 m. Near the top some layers can be traced.
What we have done:
1. Working on Müller air-borne radar data, strongly supported by Steven and Daniela
2. Tested the Starlink system
3. Enjoyed more of the amazing food. THANKS
Weather. In Resolute we have had overcast and snow clearing during the day, low wind and -7 to -5 deg C
